- The St. Elizabeth University student was unarmed, carrying only a phone and backpack; Glen Pysher described his son as a kind-hearted person who "could be a knucklehead" but enjoyed helping others.
- Upper Pottsgrove Township Police Chief Al Werner declined to release officer names while the Montgomery County Detective Bureau investigates; Glen Pysher reported difficulty retrieving his son's personal items for burial.
