Man dies after vehicle hits embankment, goes airborne

The vehicle hit an embankment associated to a driveway, police said, and subsequently went airborne and rolled after it returned to the ground.

19-Year-Old Dies After Being Hit by Vehicle in Dowa

A 19-year-old man, Hastings MacDonald, has died after being struck by a vehicle at Nkhoma village near Kasese Trading Centre in Dowa District. Mponela Police Spokesperson Macpatson Msadala reported that MacDonald was hit by a Toyota Runx traveling from Lilongwe towards Kasungu while crossing the road from left to right. The victim sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to Kasese Health Centre, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
