On Friday morning, an apartment fire in Dornbirn district Rohrbach (Vorarlberg) provided for a large deployment of the rescue forces. A total of seven people suffered minor injuries.
Due to the strong smoke generation, the entire building was evacuated. Eight people were taken to hospital with suspicion of flue gas poisoning.
Because of a fire in an apartment, 19 residents from a multi-party house were evacuated on Friday in Dornbirn. Eight people were taken to the hospital for investigation because of the suspicion of flue gas poisoning, a part of them were able to leave the hospital in the meantime, the city of Dornbirn reported in a dispatch in the morning. The cause of the fire was unclear for the time being, investigations were being carried out.
