- Entering as the number-1 seed, Team Canada NextGen member Lin posted a 13-under 131 in stroke play, tying for the second-lowest score in tournament history.
- In the 36-hole final, Lin defeated Amelie Zalsman of Petersburg, Florida, capping a dominant week through multiple match-play rounds to reach the championship match.
- Following the victory, Lin said, "I've dreamed of it my entire life," adding she wanted to inspire others and see her hard work pay off on the big stage.
- Lin will compete next in the 112th Canadian Women's Amateur Championship at The Toronto Golf Club in Mississauga, running July 21-24 against 48 top-250 WAGR players.
