HM Coastguard requested the launch of Exmouth’s relief inshore lifeboat, D-887 Dorothy and Katherine Barr lll, to assist a boat which had ran aground of Dawlish Warren. The volunteer lifeboat crew quickly launched and located the boat with one person on board which was promptly refloated and escorted to a mooring in the Exe estuary.
