154kg of unfit food destroyed in Oman’s South Al Sharqiyah

MUSCAT : The Food Control and Licensing Department at South Al Sharqiyah Municipality conducted intensive inspection campaigns between 8 and 17 February 2026, visiting 184 food establishments as part of its first-quarter monitoring efforts.According to the municipality, the campaign resulted in the issuance of 17 health violations and 18 food destruction reports.
