LAKE CITY, S.C. (WBTW) -- One person was killed Monday afternoon in a shooting in Lake City, Police Chief Patrick Miles said Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken told News13 the victim was 15. It happened in the 400 block of Elm Street, and the injured person was taken to the hospital by Florence County EMS, Miles said. Florence Co. Shooting Claims Life Of 15 Y/O

A shooting in Florence County claimed the life of a 15-year-old. At around 3:30pm Monday, police responded to a shots fired call on Durant Street in Lake City. After the victim was shot, he ran towards a path near Elm Street, where officers located him.
