SALISBURY, Md. – The Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal has determined that a small house fire that took place on Tuesday afternoon was incendiary in nature. At 2:50 p.m. on Feb. 17, the Salisbury Fire Department responded to a minor dwelling fire on West London Avenue after it was reported by a resident. A teenager is facing arson-related charges after a fire that started in the bedroom of a house on West London Avenue in Salisbury Tuesday afternoon. An occupant of the home discovered the fire. The smoke alarm status was noted as present and activated, according to the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal. No injuries were reported. The estimated loss is $2,000. The 15-year-old was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services.
