Evanston resident sues over ICE violence

Evanston resident Jennifer Moriarty joined a group of 16 Illinois residents Thursday in filing a federal tort claims act case against the Trump administration for “negligent or wrongful acts” of federal agents during Operation Midway Blitz. Moriarty was one of three people detained by federal border patrol agents after a violent clash with agents in Evanston last Halloween.
