Chester Zoo Snake Believed to Be First in the World to Benefit From Human Cancer Treatment

Veterinary staff say the 23-year-old reticulated python regained her appetite after surgery and electrochemotherapy, a treatment they say may be the first used on a snake.

Vets at Chester Zoo say the 40kg reptile is back to her “bright and feisty self”.
