A lawyer from José Socrates in this case said that he had never seen this court ask for clarifications to a State on an ongoing process.
The Portuguese State will have to respond to the doubts of the European Court of Human Rights until 23 July.
The European Court of Human Rights requested, on this Tuesday, clarifications to the Portuguese State about the duration and flight of information in the Marques Operation, which former Prime Minister José Socrates considered to be a "judgment victory".
