A 13-year-old girl was hit and injured by a bus on the B171 highway in Landeck, Tyrol, on Wednesday afternoon. The girl had suddenly attempted to cross the road 10 to 15 meters before a pedestrian crossing. The approaching bus driver immediately initiated emergency braking but was unable to prevent a collision, police reported. The 13-year-old was thrown forward onto the road and landed five meters in front of the bus.
