According to the authorities in Mexico, more than a dozen suspected members of a drug cartel were killed in a firefight with the police. As reported by the security minister of Sinaloa, Omar García Harfuch, the incident occurred on Monday (local time) in Guasave in the northwest of the state. Thus, a police patrol was attacked by armed men who had hidden under a bridge.
