NEWBURGH — City police are investigating after a 12-year-old resident was shot in the hand Saturday night near Commercial Place. Officers responded to the area around 2 Commercial Place at approximately 9:40 p.m. after receiving a ShotSpotter alert followed by multiple calls, including a report of a shooting victim.
