In a significant development in the Bihar Special Intensive Revision (SIR) case, the Supreme Court today said that those whose names have been struck off the state's voter lists can submit their Aadhaar cards to challenge this deletion
This decision of the Election Commission has come after the Supreme Court's direction, in which the apex court had ordered the Election Commission to publish the list of all the voters removed district-wise and explain the reasons for removing the names. The court had said that it should also be told that the names have been removed due to reasons like death, change of place or double registration.
