HOUSTON (KIAH) — A young patient wrote a thank-you note to the Life Fight team from a Houston hospital that saved his life after a near-drowning accident. Gavin Thayer, a 10-year-old from Kountze, also got to meet the Memorial Hermann Flight Team at the hospital and got to go back into the chopper that he was on.
