On the first anniversary of the Hudson River sightseeing helicopter crash, the victims' families and several members of Congress held a press conference at Hudson River Park on the 9th, jointly calling on Congress to pass the Helicopter Safety Parity Act as soon as possible to close long-standing regulatory loopholes and bring sightseeing helicopters under the same stringent safety standards as commercial aviation.
