Illinois state police investigate an accident that occurred on Monday May 25 at I-80, heading west, near Briggs Avenue in Joliet. Due to the accident all I-80 lanes westward are closed and traffic is being diverted to IL-30/Avenida Maple, the ISP said in a statement this Monday shortly before 2:00 pm.
